Guiuan Church
An 18th-century church that the National Museum of the Philippines lists as a National Cultural Treasure. Its full name is Immaculate Conception Parish Church. It was nominated for the UNESCO World Heritage list under two headings, the Baroque Churches of the Philippines and the Jesuit Churches of the Philippines.
Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) made landfall at Guiuan on 8 November 2013. The roof came off and the front of the church was damaged, but the walls largely held. The repair work finished in 2019.
