About Nabua

Nabua is the mother town of the Rinconada district: Iriga City, Buhi, Bato, Balatan, Bula and Baao were all carved out of it. Modern kuntaw and the jota rojana both trace back here. Coconut plantations cover much of the land, and about 86,500 people live in the town.
