Caramoran keeps a quiet stretch of the northwestern Catanduanes coast, clean beaches and clear water and not much traffic. About 30,100 people live there, third largest on the island behind Virac and San Andres. Its name is one letter off Caramoan in Camarines Sur, and the two get mixed up regularly.
