About Basco

Basco is the capital of Batanes and its largest town, which in Batanes means about 9,600 people. It sits on Batan Island, the second largest of the group, and the provincial airport is here, with flights from Manila, Tuguegarao and Itbayat. Taiwan is nearer than most of the Philippines, though nothing flies there.
