About Itbayat

Itbayat is the northernmost municipality in the Philippines, 156 kilometres from the southern tip of Taiwan. Its main island is the largest in Batanes by land area, and the municipality takes in the rest of the province's northern islands, nearly all of them uninhabited. About 2,937 people live there.
