About Palanan
Palanan is where the First Philippine Republic ended. The town served as its final capital from 1900 until American troops captured President Emilio Aguinaldo here in 1901. It sits behind the Sierra Madre on the Isabela coast, facing the Pacific, with about 18,091 people in 17 barangays.
