About Angono
Angono calls itself the Art Capital of the Philippines and has the receipts: Lucio San Pedro for music and Carlos Francisco for painting, both National Artists, both from here, plus the Angono Petroglyphs, the oldest known work of art in the country. Every November the town walks its higantes, papier mache giants several metres tall, through the streets.
