Everything from a Manila cemetery to a hotel lobby is likely cut from Romblon marble, which the island quarries and ships out to places that get the credit. Sibuyan, one island over, has Mount Guiting-Guiting and forest intact enough to have earned the nickname Galapagos of Asia. The capital is the small island town of Romblon itself, while Tablas is the largest island and carries nine of the seventeen towns.
