About Mandaluyong City

Mandaluyong was a barrio called San Felipe Neri until 1841 and, for part of 1904, the capital of Rizal province, a detail almost nobody remembers. It now shares Ortigas Center with Pasig and Quezon City, which means towers on one side and old low streets on the other, and the malls along EDSA pull in half the metro on a weekend.
