The first museum of Philippine modern art, started in 1960 when Fernando Zóbel gave the Ateneo his collection of post-war Filipino painters. The collection now runs from neo-realism and abstract expressionism to present-day work.
The prints and drawings hold more than 300 works by over 80 artists, among them Rembrandt, Goya, Delacroix, Toulouse-Lautrec and Picasso. The gallery is in the Arts Wing of the Areté building at Ateneo de Manila University, on Katipunan Avenue in Loyola Heights.
