The Mind Museum
A science museum with more than 250 exhibits, on a lot of 1.2 hectares in J. Y. Campos Park in Bonifacio Global City. It opened on March 16, 2012, and the Bonifacio Art Foundation built it.
Five galleries fill 4,900 square metres over two floors, one each for the atom, life, earth, the universe and technology, joined by features called Nature's Webways. The technology gallery is upstairs and the other four are on the ground floor. Filipino designers, scientists and fabricators made 90 percent of what is on display. Ed Calma designed the building on the idea of cell structure and growth, and gave it a solar reflective exterior and natural wind ventilation. The exhibits won a THEA award in 2014, the first given to an establishment in the Philippines.
