About Dinagat Islands

Dinagat Islands is a thin string of islands on the south side of Leyte Gulf, the main one about 60 kilometres from top to bottom and most of it easier to reach by boat than by road. Nickel mining pays for a good deal of the province, which is a complicated thing to be known for. San Jose is the capital, though Basilisa has more people.
