About Davao del Sur
Mount Apo, the highest mountain in the country, sits on the boundary of Davao del Sur, and one of the usual climbs starts at Kapatagan above Digos, the provincial capital. Davao City is geographically inside the province and politically outside it, which is why people say Davao and mean the city. The rest runs from the shore of the gulf up the slope.
