Tinago Falls
The main tourist attraction of the province: a waterfall on the Agus River at the village of Robocon, and one of the two outlets of Lake Lanao. Tinago means hidden, and the falls stand hidden in a deep ravine. The water drops 73 metres into a deep, cold pool, and under the falls is a small cave you can go into. You get down by about 500 steps, called the winding staircase.
It is in Linamon, which calls itself the Beach Capital of Lanao del Norte. Five of the town's eight barangays sit on Iligan Bay, and 16 beach resorts stand along the shore from Barangay Poblacion to Barangay Samburon.
