About Polomolok
Polomolok is the most populated municipality in Mindanao and anywhere outside Luzon, about 176,700 people, and it is still officially a town. The Dole pineapple plantations and cannery are here, 17 kilometres north of General Santos, which goes some way to explaining why this was the second wealthiest municipality in Mindanao by 2019, with 1.77 billion pesos in assets.
