About Region VII (Central Visayas)
Cebu lechon is the benchmark the rest of the country gets measured against, and Central Visayas has never been shy about it. The region is only two provinces, Cebu and Bohol, fewer than anywhere else, and it still holds more people than the rest of the Visayas. Cebu City is the oldest Spanish settlement in the country. Bohol is the quieter half, with the Chocolate Hills, the tarsiers and the beaches of Panglao.
