Anda has rock art, which is rarer in Bohol than a beach. Its red hematite petroglyphs went onto the Philippine tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage in 2006, in a group that also takes in the Angono carvings of Rizal and the Alab petroglyphs of Mountain Province. Tagbilaran is 98 kilometres back down the road.
