About Bien Unido

Seaweed is the business in Bien Unido, enough of it that the town bills itself as the seaweed capital of the Visayas. Rice, fishing, livestock and mat weaving fill out the rest. It is also the youngest municipality in Bohol, cut out of Trinidad and Talibon in 1981.
