About Carcar City

Carcar is the stop where the bus fills with the smell of lechon, and nobody leaves without a bag of chicharon. The public market sells handmade sandals too, which is the other thing the town is good at. It is an old settlement on the south-eastern coast of Cebu, and the heritage houses around the rotunda make it look its age.
