Liloan is where Titay's rosquillos are baked, the ring-shaped biscuits that have been the standard Cebu pasalubong for generations. It is also the most populated municipality in Cebu and in the whole Visayas, 158,387 people in only 14 barangays, and still a municipality rather than a city. It calls itself the Light of the North.
