About Biri

Biri is an island town of Northern Samar, and what it is known for is inakob: grated gabi cooked with coconut milk, condensed milk, eggs, brown sugar and a herb called anuv, then packed back into the peeled gabi shells and boiled a second time. About 11,000 people live across its eight barangays.
