Sogod Bay

The province's diving water: a large bay off the Bohol Sea, with reefs that draw most of its foreign visitors. Dive sites run from just outside Maasin City all the way around the bay by way of Padre Burgos.
The town of Sogod sits at the head of the bay, Panaon Island closes its eastern side, and Limasawa, also called Sarangani, lies at the mouth. Whale sharks come between October and April, and people who do not dive now travel here to see them.
