Antique is the long western strip of Panay, mountains on one side and the Sulu Sea on the other, and it speaks Kinaray-a rather than the Hiligaynon of its neighbours. Up in the hills the Iraynun-Bukidnon built the only rice terraces in the Visayas, which almost nobody outside the province knows about.
