About Banate
Banate sells crabs. Kasag is the local name for them, and along with ginamos, a paste made from krill, and fresh fish they travel from here to Iloilo City, to the inland towns and as far as Manila. The rest of the living comes from rice, sugarcane, vegetables and coconut, worked by 33,790 people.
