About Naga City

Every September Naga fills with pilgrims for the Peñafrancia, when the image of the Virgin travels back to her shrine by river barge. That devotion is how the city earned its other name, the Pilgrim City. It is the most populous city in Camarines Sur and the smallest in Bicol by land area, and the province does not govern it.
