About Tanauan City
Two men from Tanauan ran the country: Apolinario Mabini, the first prime minister, and Jose Laurel, the third president. That is a strong return for one Batangas town. The city sits between Lipa and the Laguna border, and the Mabini shrine here keeps a rebuilt version of his house along with his remains.
