About Plaridel

Plaridel was Quingua until it took the pen name of Marcelo H. del Pilar, the Bulacan propagandist who signed his writing Plaridel. About 121,000 people live there now, spread over 19 barangays, and the renaming is still the most interesting thing the record keeps about the place.
