Sideco House
An ancestral house close to the Pampanga River that served as the headquarters of the First Philippine Republic in 1899. Aguinaldo proclaimed San Isidro the capital of the country on 29 March that year and used this house, owned by Captain Crispulo Sideco, as his residence and office.
The house stopped being the seat of government when San Isidro fell to the Americans on 17 May 1899 and Aguinaldo moved to Angeles. It was in this house that the American general Frederick Funston planned the capture of Aguinaldo during the Philippine-American War. The house now stands behind the Landas ng Pagkabansang Pilipino marker for San Isidro.
