About Capas

Capas is where the Bataan Death March ended, at the rail siding where prisoners were unloaded and walked the last stretch to Camp O'Donnell. The national shrine there is the sober half of the town's tourism. The other half is Mount Pinatubo: the standard trek to the crater lake starts from Capas, and thousands do it every year.
