About Iba
Ramon Magsaysay was born in Iba, which is also the capital of Zambales, though you would not guess the second part from the size of it. About 59,600 people live here, fewer than in Subic or Botolan, on the coast roughly midway up the province. Magsaysay died in a plane crash in 1957.
