About Bangui

The Bangui Wind Farm was the first power generating windmill farm in Southeast Asia, and the row of turbines standing in the surf along the bay is what everybody drives up here to photograph. The town behind them is small, about 15,200 people on the north coast of Ilocos Norte, and it was small before the turbines arrived.
