About Gloria
Gloria was a barangay called Maligaya, the biggest in Pinamalayan, until local politicians pushed to make it and the barangays beside it a town of their own. They named it for the ten year old daughter of President Diosdado Macapagal, who became president herself in 2001. It has 52,296 people.
