About Brooke's Point

Brooke's Point is one of the bigger towns of southern Palawan, and it was bigger still until 1995, when its southern barangays were cut away to make the municipality of Sofronio Española. The English name is an oddity in a province where almost every other town carries a Spanish or a Cuyonon one. About 76,700 people live here.
