About Palawan
Palawan is the largest province in the country by area and still holds under a million people, which is most of its appeal. The underground river at Puerto Princesa runs eight kilometres through a mountain to the sea, and the limestone at El Nido and Coron does the rest of the work for the tourism trade. Puerto Princesa is the capital and largest city, administered separately from the province around it.
