About Cuyo

Cuyo is the oldest town in Palawan and was the provincial capital from 1873 to 1903, which is part of why Cuyonon culture out here has held its shape for more than 350 years rather than dissolving into the mainland. The town holds the western half of Cuyo Island plus Pamalican, Manamoc and a string of smaller ones.
