About Narra

Palawan grows its rice in Narra, enough of it that the province calls the town its granary. The harvest gets a festival in mid to late October, the Palay Festival, which went by the plainer name Anihan until somebody renamed it. About 80,000 people live here, which puts Narra among the largest towns in the province.
