Pamalican Island
A small sandy island in the Cuyo Islands, 2.5 kilometres long and 500 metres across at its widest, set in the middle of a coral reef of 7 square kilometres.
The whole island is private, owned by Seven Seas Resorts and Leisure and run by Aman Resorts as Amanpulo. Guests fly in from Manila on Dornier 228 aircraft, and each bungalow comes with its own buggy. Divers here see coral, sea turtles and rays. The shallow lagoon on the north shore is used for windsurfing, best from November to May when the monsoon blows onshore.
