About Parañaque City
Baclaran is in Parañaque, which means the Wednesday novena at the Redemptorist church and the market that has grown around it, one of the busiest stretches of selling in the country. The bay side of the city is reclaimed land and casinos, the inland side ordinary Metro Manila housing. Between them a wetland park has somehow survived.
