About Tuburan

The Tuburan in Basilan, not the one in Cebu, gave up two thirds of its barangays in 2006, when Akbar and Hadji Mohammad Ajul were created out of it. Ten barangays are left, holding about 30,000 people. No other town in the province gave away quite so much.
