About Malidegao

With about 36,400 people, Malidegao is the largest of the eight Special Geographic Area towns. Like the rest it dates from 2024, when Bangsamoro gathered the Cotabato barangays that had chosen it in the 2019 plebiscite into municipalities of their own. Seven barangays hold the whole town.
