About Agusan del Norte
Agusan del Norte keeps its capital in two places. Cabadbaran holds the title while much of the provincial business is done in Butuan, the bigger city next door that governs itself and runs Caraga besides. The province curves around Butuan Bay with the Agusan lowlands behind it, and most travellers are only passing through on the way to Surigao or Cagayan de Oro.
