About Bukidnon

Kaamulan brings the upland peoples of the province down to Malaybalay each year, which makes it one of the few Philippine festivals built on tribal ritual rather than a borrowed street parade. Bukidnon is the plateau in the middle of Northern Mindanao, landlocked, cooler than the coast, and planted end to end with pineapple, sugar cane and corn. Malaybalay is the capital and Valencia the bigger city.
