About Alangalang
Alangalang is landlocked, which on an island province takes some arranging: Tacloban closes it off from the sea on the northeast and Jaro blocks the west. It covers 151 square kilometres and holds 59,063 people. On the road towards Carigara a steel bridge crosses the Mainit River.
