Santo Niño Shrine and Heritage Museum
A former Marcos family house, now a museum of Imelda Marcos's collection and of objects tied to the Santo Niño, the patron saint of the city. Imelda Marcos had it built between 1979 and 1981, one of 20 presidential palaces raised during the martial law years.
The Philippine government sequestered the property in its campaign to recover the family's ill-gotten wealth, and the Presidential Commission on Good Government runs the museum. Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) damaged the building in 2013 and it was renovated afterwards. People here call it the Imelda Marcos Museum.
