About Talisay City
The Ruins stands in Talisay, the burnt-out shell of a sugar baron's mansion that gets photographed at sunset by half the visitors to Negros. The city itself is just north of Bacolod with about 109,200 people, and it spends a certain amount of effort not being taken for the Talisay in Cebu, which has more than twice the population.
