About Daraga
The Cagsawa Ruins are in Daraga: a church belfry buried by Mayon in 1814, and the most photographed object in Albay, partly because the tower frames the volcano behind it. The town itself is one of the largest in the province, about 138,000 people, sitting next door to Legazpi City.
