About Legazpi City

Mayon is the reason most people come to Legazpi, a near perfect cone standing over the capital of Albay on the western shore of Albay Gulf. The city is the working centre of Bicol and its transport hub, 560 kilometres by road from Manila. Bicolano cooking runs on coconut milk and chilli, and Legazpi is the easiest place to start eating it.
