About La Trinidad
La Trinidad grows enough strawberries to be called the Strawberry Fields of the Philippines, which is the reason most visitors turn off the road here. It is also the capital of Benguet and by a wide margin its largest town, 142,925 people, and it has effectively merged with Baguio next door as part of Metro Baguio.
