About Coron
Coron sells two things. Japanese ships sunk here in 1944 still lie on the seabed, and divers come a long way to see them. Coron Island itself is a wall of limestone listed on the UNESCO World Heritage tentative list as a natural biotic area. Most of the town's 69,000 residents live on Busuanga Island rather than on Coron Island.
