About Sarangani
The burial jars dug out of a cave in Maitum, each shaped with a human face and around two thousand years old, are the best known thing to come out of Sarangani. The province wraps 230 kilometres of coast around Sarangani Bay and the Celebes Sea in two pieces, with General Santos in the gap. Alabel is the capital, and Glan has both the most people and the beach at Gumasa.
